Purchasing Administrator

Newrest is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to support its development in Colnbrook.


  • Set up, maintain and communicate an auditable purchasing process.
  • Send and receive requests for quotations.
  • Ensuring requests for quotations are actioned on time.
  • Input data and maintain departmental spreadsheets, providing quantifiable data for monthly reports and audits.
  • Maintain the supply base and improve relationships with suppliers, technical and production staff.
  • Generate material requirements and assist in the management of inventory.
  • Provide cover for supervisor/shift leader/manager as required. 


  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in an office environment (desirable).
  • Data entry skills, good numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Organisational skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Good team work skills.
  • The ability to be an effective ambassador for the organisation at all times.

CONTRACT: Permanent, starting date: ASAP

LOCATION: Position located in Colnbrook, United Kingdom

SALARY: £22,500.00 per annum, Contractual hours 40 with a variable start time from 7:00 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
